Come Write with Me
Write Around the World in February
If you have thought “I should try writing.” or “I wonder if I could?” or “I’ve run out of ideas. Now what?” or j“I need to make some time to work on that…magazine article/ short story/ poem about my mother….. Here’s an opportunity to dive in and get started (or restarted).
I had the pleasure last fall of training in the Amherst Writers and Artists method of facilitating and it was a game changer for me. The training reignited my creative fire and got me writing again, and now - bonus! - I am certified to offer workshops and groups in the AWA method. I will be posting these here in the next couple of months.
Meantime, I am offering two workshops during AWA’s Write Around the World fundraiser, happening every day in February. There is a feast of workshops and facilitators from all over to choose from with a variety of time zones to accommodate writers from everywhere.
My sessions are called: “Refilling the Well: Telling Your Caregiver Story”.
Dates: Feb. 1 (coming soon) and Feb. 8.
Times is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST.
All sessions are on Zoom.
Cost is a sliding scale, depending on your situation. It’s lower if you register for a group of sessions. All funds go to support AWA’s non profit work.
To find out about AWA and Write Around the World, go to their site:

Click on the Write Around the World button to get all the details and check out their roster of sessions and writers giving them. It’s awesome. You’ll be working in a supportive environment, where confidentiality is taken very seriously and all writing is treated as art. (No one questioning the writer if “this” did or didn’t happen… etc.). The focus is completely on the writing and making space for each writer’s work.
